Meditation
Meditation is simply... Calming the mind.

The mind is like a muscle and the more we can train it not to think those negative thoughts the more successful we will be at keeping them at bay.
So many people are so active within their mind. Worrying about various things in their present life, the past or the future. When our mind contains so much energy through these thoughts, worries, fears etc, it draws our energy away from our body, thus draining our energy.
It’s important to get into a regular meditation / mind calming routine that works for you.

To meditate doesn’t mean you have to sit cross legged like a monk and chant. This works for some of us, but often throws a misconception about meditation. Remember, meditation is simply calming the mind. You can calm your mind through anything.

Here are some ideas:
Walking
Some quiet reflection
Exercising
Cleaning your home environment
Being creative
Dancing, singing, being musical
Stopping what you are doing (including thinking) and focus on your breathing

Focusing on the power of your breathing will help take your energy away from your thinking. You can try counting your breaths, up to 10 and then back down to 1 and up to 10 again, and so on.

Dedicate some time to your mental health through the power of meditation.
